Pet & People Pantry
The Pets & People Pantry is a memorial created in loving honor of Trudy Gibson Knight (October 2, 1951 – May 15, 2020), an avid lover and tireless advocate for all animals. A beloved mother and best friend to Cheryl, and a cherished Granny to Ryan, Trudy’s compassion lives on through this space. The pantry ensures families never have to choose between feeding themselves and caring for the pets they love, standing as a lasting tribute to her heart for animals, people, and community.

monthly food PANTRY
The PAWS Pet Food Pantry provides free pet food to Garvin County residents experiencing financial hardship, helping families keep their pets fed and at home during difficult times. The pantry is held on the second Tuesday of each month from 3:00–4:00 PM and operates on a first-come, first-served basis as short-term, supplemental support. Participation requires proof of need and responsible pet ownership, including spay/neuter requirements when medically appropriate, with the goal of reducing pet surrender and strengthening the bond between people and their pets.

Pets for Patriots
Pets for Patriots is unleashing hope™ for United States military veterans and the nation’s most overlooked shelter animals through companion pet adoption. Waived adoption fees and post adoption support!

R.A.S.C.A.L
The R.A.S.C.A.L. Project, which stands for Rescuing Animals Saving Children Adopt Love, is a meaningful initiative that combines compassion and education. For just $40, you can purchase a plush rescue animal as a gift, a keepsake for your family, or donate one to emergency services to comfort children in challenging situations. These plush animals not only provide comfort but also help start the process of teaching children about responsible pet ownership, fostering empathy and care from a young age. By supporting R.A.S.C.A.L., you’re helping rescue efforts, spreading love to children in need, and planting the seeds for a lifelong understanding of animal welfare and compassion.
